Northern Kettle Moraine

The Kettle Moraine Northern Unit is comprised of about 30,000 acres Location stretching 30 miles across Sheboygan, Fond du Lac and Washington Counties. The forest is managed for multiple use, including recreation management, sustainable forest products, water quality and soil protection, terrestrial and aquatic wildlife, native biological diversity and aesthetics. Fees: Vehicle admission sticker is required. Camping fees for the Wisconsin State Park System. State trail pass is required for bikers and horseback riders 16 years of age and older.

Why only non-gaited horses? When is the best time to camp there...to avoid bugs? My Icelandic Horse mare is severely allergic to insects. T/U!
