Farmdale Reservoir

East Peoria, Illinois

Admin: Monica Joy

Owned by the Army Corp of Engineers. No camping, but great for day riding. Please note the park is also used heavily by bikers and hikers, though they have all been very courteous in our experience. (Though many of the hikers are city folks who know nothing about horses, so be prepared). Trails are fabulous with good hills, open meadows, creek crossings and a trail over the dam.
