Big South Fork - True West Campground

Jamestown, Tennessee

Admin: Liz Heitshusen

True West Campground is located by Jamestown, TN. We stayed a week in their very cute Miner's Shack cabin. They help unload all your horse tack and clean your trailer at check-in. They also help haul all your stuff to the cabin! The horses have nice stalls with open sides. Wash racks are available. Wi-fi at the office, gift shop, and offer food. We trailered out one day but rode from the campground the rest of the time. I would recommend the National Geographic map for the area. The O&W Railroad trail is worth checking out if you have time. We rode almost all day every day we were there and didn't come close to covering all of the trails.
