Huckleberry Farms is a 54-acre farm that includes two large concrete floored barns with 32 (12x14) stalls including two stallion or mother/foal stalls with private paddocks. Every stall has a water supply, drains & rubber mats, corner feed buckets, cross ties, chalkboard on door feeders and electrical outlet.

A short walk from the barn, you'll find twelve 2/5 acre paddocks with wood/wire/hotwire fencing, dressage arena and a training round pen with viewing deck.

From boarding to training and holding events, Huckleberry Farms has it all.  You can host a bridal shower or have a birthday party at their location, call or check the WEBSITE for more information.

If you are looking for a great place to camp in Florida with riding that is not an issue with 10 acres of woods for trails, 20 cleared acres and access to over 2,000 preserved acres. The public (free) western arena is a 2-mile ride. Beach rides are just a 20-minute haul.

Muskwa-Kechika Adventures

Premium HTCAA Trail Destination

Muskwa-Kechika Adventures grew from the campaign to protect BC's Northern Rockies. Their 3 month, 300-mile Expeditions introduce folks to the largest wilderness in the Rockies and the most important area for large wildlife in North America, the Muskwa-Kechika Management Area.

They'll start out in June at Mile 172 of the Alaska Highway, and hit Mile 400 in mid-September. Riders join them and the 22 horse packstring for 2 weeks, participatory expeditions that recall a way of life long past, when horse, saddle, and campfire were vital tools of wilderness travel. Make no mistake, this is the real deal!

Do not expect a typical "tourist" trip. Instead, you will become an expedition member. Participants share in all camp and trail activities such as saddling, fire-lighting, cooking, and horse wrangling. Horse travel in the wilderness is rigorous, and folks must be able to hike up and down steep trails, mount and dismount repeatedly, and assist with camp and horse activities according to their abilities.

Experience with horses is useful, but not necessary. Fitness, however, is mandatory.  For more information on dates and pricing see the WEBSITE!
