Free Scavenger Hunt and Trail Ride

Pre register at link below or onsite Sign ups 7 to 10AM June 24th. Must sign up and sign a Release of Liability for all family members. Hikers, Trail Runners, Bicyclist, and Equestrians all welcome to enter and enjoy the trail. There will be a brief getting to know your other trail users educational session prior to going out on the trail. All it takes is a little trail etiquette and this concept works well. Several marked trail loop options of various mileage. Public Camping available on site. Forest Service allows dispersed camping for up to 14 days. Kids 17 and under must have a adult with them on the trial. Kids get to pick a gold painted rock from a gold pan and weigh it for outdoor gear and art supply prizes donated by CSHA, Tops, Ace, Trinity Outdoors and Trinity Trust. Each Entrant adult and child alike will get a scavenger card for a chance at a $50 cash prize and other choices of prizes will be available to. @ 7PM June 24th Bring your favorite Pot Luck dish to go with some meat provided by management that is sponsored by Tops Market in Weaverville Ca. First participants for scavenger hunt can go out on to look for scavenger items @ 10 AM on June 24th. The latests participants can go out will be 11AM . Scavenger list drawing for the prizes will be a approximately noon on the 25th after all participants are back in camp and we will announce the order of the Kids Gold Nugget awards at the same time. Directions: Take I 5 to Redding, from Redding go 299 West to Weaverville. Drive all the way into Weaverville's Historic Downtown and take a right on Highway 3 North toward Trinity Lake. Drive approximately 3 miles up highway 3 and after climbing a sweeping hairpin turn to the right, turn left onto 34N95 a gravel Forest Service Road. It is a will be marked with a sign and flagging. Drive up the gravel FS road approximately a .7 mile road will climb and curve and pass through the gate. Ride Camp will be on right after climbing a short hill after the gate.
